BREAKING - Bills WR Khalil Shakir has signed a four-year contract extension worth up to $60.2 million, including $32 million guaranteed, per @AdamSchefter
4 yrs 32m guaranteed, so 8m a year.. why is everyone assuming he'll hit all incentives?
Yeah this was a discount buy… they woulda lost him for 20 mill a year elsewhere and they obviously cant lose peices at wr right now
Great move - he's a stud and catches everything and is hard to tackle
As a bills fan, this is a great deal for us. Relatively cheap for how consistent he is and how he is just so good at escaping tackles. Absolutely love shakir
Shakir making more than SAQUAN is just straight bs
Ya”ll don’t understand he was the best bills receiver by far and is being paid a good amount this isn’t a even a top 20 contract. He is so good and consistent for the bills the bills need a consistent wr and he gives them that
So why is your name Keon Coleman then
Anyone else unable to make picks right now ?
if Aiyuk getting 30 a year Shakir is worth 15
Woof
at least Josh "choke job" Allen doesn't have to carry the burden of being the most overpaid Bill anymore.
He’s good
60.2 million for a mediocre wide receiver is crazy
They locked up the most mid wr they could find. They won’t have to worry about their wr3 position the next few years! Guess they’ll be paying their wr 2 50 mil a year and their wr 1 80 mil a year
The bills could’ve signed Saquon Barkley and let Shakir go this summer… for the same price.
THE GOAT
good for him, he isn't a great fantasy reciver, but he is a reliable reciver for Allen, and it doesn't supriset me at all they resigned him, even if they were getting a reciver that was guaranteed to be a number one this season, Shakir is still worth signing, he is a good inside reciver that runs routes well, and he catches almost every pass Allen throws to him, so Josh trusts him, I think it was a good move for Buffalo, because if the Bills get a number one outside reciver that the defense has to worry about Shakir is going to have a great year
Congratulations to everyone involved
