Nabers, Odunze, Ladd, A. Mitchell, J. Burton, D. Wicks, D. Douglas, D. Vele TE:J. Smith, K. Pitts, Freiermuth, N. Fant, C. Stover 2025 picks: 1.06, 1.11, 2.05, 3.06, 4.06

I mean I don’t think he has as far to climb as you think, obviously. I think his QBs are good enough, and he could potentially have 5 WR1s on his team. IMO, with RBs he drafts in this class and acquire 1 vet mid season, that’s plenty to have a very good chance at winning.

Yeah no duh you don't need heavy hitters at every position 🙄. But CJ Stroud was garbage Kyler Murray is middling at best, penix has the best upside of being legit. And those tight ends the best one of them is not on a roster and didn't break out until he was 32 years old. And like you said this team is young He doesn't need to force anything He has time to build a roster properly. This is not some tiny little window that he has with aging players

As I said earlier, if you think that’s what the price is… and if the 1.01 holder in the OP’s league thinks that’s the price.. then my advice is to go after the 1.03 or 1.04 and maintaining the 1.06

Either way, our disagreement comes down Jeanty’s Value or the value of his top 4 WRs. Rn I think Jeanty for MHJ is about even and Ladd would probably need an early/mid 2nd added on…which I would still be hesitant to do.

You value a running back like this. If he's a generational running back which everyone is claiming that he is as of right now that he is on par with Gibbs and Bijan. He is worth that much.

okay so you got name bias because of the conference That's cool forget that there are so many great running backs that came out of terrible tiny little schools

Not to mention his offensive line was one of the worst in the entire college ranks. If you watched any of his highlights you know that that number 66 on the old line lived on the ground and he got regularly got hit in the backfield and still turned it into a huge play

There is a reason that the average career span for RBs in the NFL is <3yrs. Most don’t make it out of their rookie contract before they are done

Jeanty is special. No doubt.. but he’s still a RB

And that's fine but it's not because they get hurt more it's because when a RB goes down someone is able to replace with someone else who puts up some points. When a WR goes down it's extremely hard to just replace them.

If the WR is harder to replace, then wouldn’t that make their value higher?

Besides that's the avg NFL career in the NFL not just RB

Right but we are not talking specifically about avg WRs either. We are talking about Ladd who finished his rookie season as a WR1 and MHJ who was the consensus 1.01/1.02 in one of the best classes ever

My reverence to avg WRs and avg RBs is only to establish the overarching difference in value of the position…
